LACCD Programmer - Analyst III (Network/Systems)

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college with a degree in computer science or related field. Additional four years qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, positive attitude and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent collaborative and team skills and ability to present ideas in user-friendly and non-technical language.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Current Windows Servers and Internet protocols: DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP,
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory Services, Entra ID, Office 365, and document SharePoint management system
- Experience with VPN Appliances and Cisco Meraki Appliances
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Antivirus, CrowdStrike, Zoom Administration, Microsoft Teams, and network security including VPNs, ACLs, IPSEC, SSL
- Experience with Web site, intranet, and SharePoint support, and PowerShell scripting and automation. Able to develop scripted solutions to automate and/or simplify manual administrative processes and procedures.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V hypervisors, & cloud architecture
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity and privacy principles, Rubrik Backup and Recovery, and Nessus and Splunk
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing IT related support for a large construction bond program
- Industry certifications such as Comp TIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNP Enterprise
Compensation:
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
